If another driver makes eye contact with you:

You should never rely on eye contact as an assurance that a driver has seen you. It is not uncommon for a driver to look directly at a motorcyclist and still fail to actually notice them.

• You know that they have seen you.
• It doesn’t always mean they've actually seen you.
• They will properly yield to you.
