A motorcyclist:

A person may operate a motorcycle without a helmet if they are over the age of 21 and have held a motorcycle license for at least one year. It is recommended that all motorcyclists wear helmets every time they ride.

• Is always required to wear a helmet.
• Must wear a helmet if they are carrying a passenger on their motorcycle.
• Does not have to wear a helmet if they are over the age of 21 and have held their motorcycle license for a year or longer.
• Does not have to wear a helmet if they are over the age of 18.
